Gabriele Wiedenhofer has been a Master Hairdresser since 1990 and has more than three decades of professional experience. Her expertise is continuously developed through specialist training, including the Wella Master of Color programme, L’Oréal education and international hairdressing events.

Since 2012, she has owned and managed Salon Eva – color & style in Vienna. Salon Privat was developed as an extension of this experience — offering the same professional standards with more privacy, calm and time for personal consultation.

Your appointment starts with a conversation. We prefer to arrange appointments by phone or email so we can understand what you are looking for, allow the right amount of time and prepare for your visit.

We answer every enquiry personally. While we are with a client, our full attention belongs to that appointment, so emails are answered as soon as salon service allows.

The hairpiece and natural hair are shaped together so that length, form and transitions create a harmonious overall hairstyle. Consultation and the appointment take place in a calm, private setting.

This service covers the haircut and adaptation of an existing, already fitted hairpiece; it does not include the manufacture of hairpieces.

Do you speak English?

Absolutely. International guests are very welcome at Salon Privat. We do our best to make communication easy in English. Salon Privat is particularly convenient for international clients living or working near the Vienna International Centre (VIC) and UNO City.

Why can’t I book through an online booking platform?

Because personal service begins before your appointment. We prefer phone or email so we can understand what you would like, plan enough time and prepare for your visit. We answer enquiries personally as salon service allows.

Are evening or Saturday appointments possible?

Yes. Evening and Saturday appointments are available by arrangement.

Can you help with a short-notice appointment?

For exceptional last-minute situations — for example an unexpected important event — please call us. We will always see what may be possible, but short-notice availability cannot be guaranteed.

Do you work with curly, textured or very thick hair?

Yes. Curly, textured, fine and very thick hair are all welcome. The haircut, colour and care are adapted to your individual hair structure and the result you want to achieve.

For us, Hair Spa means combining professional hair care and selected treatments with comfort and time to relax. It complements our hairdressing services; it is not presented as a medical scalp treatment.

Can I book a discreet appointment for hair loss, very fine hair or after a hair transplant?

Yes. The private setting can be especially comfortable for sensitive hair concerns. We can discuss a suitable haircut or styling approach. After a medical procedure, any hairdressing service should first be cleared by the treating medical professional.
